My First Goalie Mask Project

When I first got into the hobby of designing goalie masks, I was not really confident with my own artwork. As such, I thought an easier, more worthwhile way to produce a design would be to decoupage one out of comic book pages.

Below, you'll find the result of one such effort - where I cut out strips of my Watchmen comic and pasted it on using Mod Podge. I then used some black paint to add shading, and resin to coat the mask.

The result: a decorative, Watchmen-inspired goalie mask for my bookshelf (which I went so far as procuring a Gold ITECH cage for. In this design, you'll notice three key characters: The Comedian, Dr. Manhattan, and Rorschach.
