My 10th Concept - Spy vs. Spy

Let’s keep the posts coming, eh? This one, completed in 1663 strokes and two and a half hours, is MAD’s “Spy vs. Spy”.

I particularly liked the storytelling in this one…

In a nutshell, Black Spy is sitting at a console, hacking into the dreams of White Spy (who is sound asleep in their room). White Spy’s dream of knocking out Black Spy, is disrupted with a nightmare of Black Spy crushing White Spy with a tree.

This concept is somewhat of an extension of the comic panel idea I had in an earlier mask design, except that it features thought-bubbles, more-so than the typical comic panels.
